Gold Coast Business Network hosts speed networking event

The Gold Coast Business Network, an internet-based networking group for Gold Coast business executives and professionals, is set to hold a speed networking event.

The group, which now has almost 1000 members, is set to hold the speed networking breakfast at Southport Golf Club on Wednesday, April 4 to mark the end of the March quarter.

An initiative of public relations and human resources consulting company Consulting Hall, the networking group was started on the fast growing social media site Linkedin in March 2010.

Consulting Hall managing director Marshall Hall said he was excited about the upcoming breakfast.

"It is clear from our past events that there is a fair bit of interest in speed networking events and we are expecting a good turn up,'' said Hall.
