Professionals expands during COVID-19

Professionals Group Australia is increasing its presence in Australia's fiercely competitive property market despite the COVID-19 health and economic crisis.

Professionals have added five new offices during the COVID-19 crisis with Professionals Group Australia Chief Executive David Crombie saying the network's growth showed the attractiveness of the Professionals offering.

He said the network had added new agencies in Western Australia, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland during the COVID-19 crisis.

Professionals Group Australia, which was founded by six independent real estate agents in 1976, now has more than 230 agencies under its banner and is among the top 10 largest real estate networks in the country.

"Professionals Group Australia continues to grow its agency network, aided by its unique membership model,'' said Mr Crombie.

"Unlike other networks, the Professionals Group does not serve the financial interests of a master franchisor, but rather it operates to serve the interests of its members.

"As a member of the Professionals network, members have greater autonomy to drive their business forward while also having the advantage of more attractive fees than a typical franchise.

"We offer members a strong and recognisable brand, excellent marketing tools and assistance, and a uniquely supportive network that provides advice, encouragement and guidance.

Mr Crombie said a key priority for the group was to ensure its members received the best possible support.

"We have created an environment in which every member is encouraged to share ideas and support each other, so we all benefit,'' he said.
